From the Vatican to Jerusalem - in 48 hours.



The only thing better would be a stop-over at Frankfurt Airport for a pretzel for breakfast.


I did this a few years ago! My daughter was studying at Loyola Roma campus, and I had a meeting in Tel Aviv to look at the 'world's best galvanized water pipes'. Thank you Tzvi Koslowe for a world-class tour of Isreal.


Just hours before I walked the grounds of St Peter's, had a coffee with a priest friend on the steps, and then stood 60 feet below the wailing wall. History is relative and emotional. The grass in the second picture is plastic.


Life is... beautiful.
