Orwell's Pride


Of all the imagines I think will haunt me from Expo 2020 was the message from the President of Angola. He will use big tech to monitor and direct the human assets of HIS people.


As a big "I" individualist, a lover of freedom and one who doesn't believe the government is always here to 'help'... this message of a new form of central control was eire and likely wholly truthful.


Angola appears to be leaping in with the help of Chinese investment to leap frog facial recognition, web monitoring, currency controls and life control... all tools likely being more subtly used in the the first world, but Angola was just audacious enough to put it on transparent display.
