The Warehouse Economy


The Jetson's economy has arrived. Packages will soon be delivered by drone to your doorstep. Driverless Ubers will whisk you to your next Zoom meeting room. Teleconferences will replace business travel. Implanted, augmented wearables will replace Smartphones as a means of payment, communication and networking.


Social Networks will leap the space and time continuum.


But before all this can happen, the world will build massive warehouses, automate them and store the enormous amounts of raw materials, finished goods and even data that power this near future economy.


Warehouses are the next step in the "S" curve of progress.


If the 'future was Plastic' in the 1960s and 1970s. And Greed was Good (finance) in the 1980s and 1990s. Today's future is WAREHOUSING.
